Arrest of Karen Webber for Alleged Fraudulent Marriage .
A recent incident involving an individual named Karen Weber, who was arrested at John Glenn Columbus International Airport on the evening of October 10, 2024.
Ms. Webber a member of the U.S. Army stationed at Stuttgart Army Airfield in Germany, was apprehended by security personnel upon her return to the United States. The arrest stems from allegations of a fraudulent marriage to an individual named Samantha Hightower, whom Ms. Weber reportedly met online through TikTok. Their relationship progressed to Facebook, where they expressed their feelings for one another.
In an attempt to facilitate Ms. Webber return to the U.S., the two individuals allegedly conspired to create false marriage documentation, despite never having met in person. This scheme was intended to grant Ms. Webber entry into the country under the pretense of a legitimate marriage.
Following her arrival, law enforcement authorities took Ms. Webber into custody for further investigation into the circumstances surrounding this fraudulent arrangement. The case will be examined thoroughly to determine the extent of the deception and the involvement of Ms. Hightower.
